I have a baby Scarlet Macaw (7 months old) ready for her new home. She is not being hand fed anymore so eating on her own now! She's gorgeous, energetic, intelligent and a loving pet. She's been eating on her own now for the last two weeks. She steps up so far and is filled with a great personality. She really likes to cuddle and play with everyone. Nails and wings are clipped in advance for the baby. :)
Its a good time to get them at this age so they can bond with your family.
About Scarlet Macaws: They make a very loving pet and have a strong personality. Macaws in general have the intelligence of a 3-8 year old child. Scarlet Macaws have great sense of humor and have a clownish personality. They love to chew, love showers, playful and love to cuddle. Average life span 50+ years.
